Growth Mindset: Multiple Intelligences

I learned about the idea of multiple intelligences my freshman year in my psychology class. It is a very interesting concept to me and makes perfect sense. Some people are simply better at some things than others. I also think it is important to note what was said about how the most creative ideas use as many intelligences as possible. I like to think that I use a variety of intelligences, but there are definitely some I could work on and improve.

For me the most difficult intelligence I really wish I was better at is the visual-spatial one. I do a lot of mapping and drawing in my classes and to be honest I kind of really suck at it. It is really hard for me to visualize things the way I really need to sometimes, but I'm hoping that I will get better with more practice.

I know for a fact my "top" intelligences would be intrapersonal, naturalist, interpersonal, linguistic, and logical-mathematical. Those are all things I know I am good at, while musical, bodily-kinesthetic, and visual-spatial are all much weaker points for me. I think the best way to grow your intelligences is just by practice.
