The first article I read was What Kinds of Messages Help Kids Grow. I thought it was very interesting that using non basic or "process praise" can effect a child's motivation even up to five years later! Also the power of yet is something I think is incredibly important to teach to young children, it helps them stick to difficult things until they can get them right. I wish this was something I was taught more growing up, I gave up on a lot of things as a kid just because I wasn't instantly good at it.
The second article I read was How to Craft Constructive Feedback which was actually an infographic. I think it is good to be a witness of other people's work and acknowledge the hard work they put into it. I also like the tips of "Observe, Describe, and Suggest". I think that is what I will try to do when I give feedback, and I know that would be most helpful for me.
